In preparation for the Brazilian online premiere, I recently had the opportunity to revisit and provide dramaturgy for For Love, a one act play by Brazilian/ UK playwright Rogerio Correa I directed and dramaturged in 2018 and 2019.

Entre Homens was completed with the Notice Culture Present in the Networks of SECEC RJ and explores the reality of contemporary sexual and emotional relations between men and all the absurdities that surround them.
This edition consisting of two short plays, For Love and Here Reunited, explores some of the challenges that LGBTQ in our day: The violence of homophobia, concentration camps for state-sponsored homosexuals, and how society has eased long-term homosexual relationships with civil partnerships and marriages.
Despite recent victories in the fight for LGBTQ+ rights, this progress has not been tracked around the world. Members of the LGBTQ+ community are being arrested, tortured, and murdered all over the world. For all this, the piece is vital and urgent and necessary to broaden the reflections around these issues.
Programing
Launched live, Entre Homens premiered Saturday, September 26 at 7 p.m.
The project is available after the premiere for the access of the general public. Free.

Entre Homens foi contemplado com o Edital Cultura Presente nas Redes da SECEC RJ e explora a realidade das relações sexuais e emocionais contemporâneas entre homens e todos os absurdos que as cercam.
Esta edição formada por duas peças curtas, Por Amor e Aqui Reunidos, explora alguns dos desafios que os gays enfrentam em nossos dias: A violência da homofobia, campos de concentração para homossexuais patrocinados pelo estado e como a sociedade acomodou relacionamentos homossexuais de longo prazo com parcerias civis e casamentos.
Apesar das recentes vitórias na luta pelos direitos LGBTTQ+, este progresso não foi acompanhado em todo o mundo. Homens gays estão sendo presos, torturados e assassinados em todo o mundo. Por tudo isto, a peça é vital e urgente e necessária para ampliar as reflexões em torno dessas questões.
